How does this experience take place?
- After the welcome, introduce yourself and think about which ceramics you would like to design.
- Workshop leader Kate explains the basics of pottery and shows you how to prepare the clay.
- You start with the first steps together. Kate will then individually support you in implementing your designs.
- As you shape the clay, you'll receive tips and tricks and can ask your questions about pottery.
- As soon as your ceramic is formed, you plan the decoration and choose your desired colors.
- While the pieces dry, Kate will advise you on the design and show you how to achieve the desired result.
- After the workshop, your ceramic pieces dry slowly and are fired at 1250 °C.
- After firing, the pieces are waterproof, frost-resistant and dishwasher-safe and can be picked up.
