What you’ll do in the class
- 1st appointment (approx. 3 hours):
- Welcome and introduction to the basics of pottery
- Output of 2 kg of clay
- Introduction to hand-building techniques without a potter's wheel
- Shape your individual work piece
- Preparation for scrubbing
- Intermediate step:
- Scrub your work piece through the studio
- 2nd appointment (approx. 2 hours):
- Introduction to glazing techniques
- Independent glazing of your workpiece
- Preparation for the final fire
- Conclusion:
- Final burning through the studio
- Picking up your finished pottery
- All finished pieces are waterproof, frost-resistant and dishwasher-safe
