In the workshop “Make straw stars in Berlin”, you will learn the traditional art of making festive Christmas stars from fine straw. Step by step, you will learn how to prepare, shape and fix the material with thread. Together, you create classic patterns that have adorned windows and trees for centuries. In a creative atmosphere, you will receive tips for your own variations so that unique stars are created that enrich your Christmas decoration.

Step by step, you will learn how to prepare the straw, shape it and fix it with thread. We work with three classic patterns that are easy to learn even for beginners and teach you the traditional basic technique and its possible variations.
