About this class
Would you like to get to know the world of embroidery and everything it entails? Dive into this creative craft with us and get an idea of what techniques there are!
Learn the basics of embroidery in a relaxed way during our in-person embroidery course, with a focus on cross-stitching. Regardless of whether you are a total beginner or simply want to try something new, this is the right place for you!
Embroider your first cross stitch picture!
In this workshop, you will learn step by step the most important stitches, how to use embroidery thread, fabric and needles, and how to read simple embroidery patterns. We will also show you how to plan and create your own cross-stitch designs from scratch and what you should pay attention to, from the size of the motif to the implementation on nitrogen.
We have lots of great designs on site, from which you can choose one in peace and quiet. This way, you are guaranteed to find a design that you like and with which you can implement your first embroidery project.
At the end of the course, you will go home with your own finished embroidery picture. You can then thread this with us into an unset, hang it, frame it, give it away or reuse it creatively, for example for cards, small decorations or textile projects.
Meet great people, exchange ideas creatively with others over drinks and snacks (gladly for a small donation), get to know new people and look forward to a cozy evening with lots of crafts.

What you’ll do in the class
This is how the course works:
• You can choose
a design on site that you like
• We will show you the basics of cross stitch step by step (read stitches, materials & patterns)
• You start your own embroidery project and will be individually accompanied • you will learn in advance how to plan and implement your own designs
• In the end, you will take your finished embroidery picture home — to hang, frame, give away or further process
Who is the class suitable for?
The course is beginner-friendly and children aged 12 and over are also welcome if they want to get creative.
