About this class
Our small jewelry workshops take place just outside Frankfurt am Main in picturesque Götzenhain.
No previous knowledge is required, just get started, have fun and then proudly take home two individual pieces of jewelry forged by yourself.
With our help, you can make a pendant or two earrings as well as a sterling silver ring and take the jewelry you have created yourself home right away.
In about 2 ½ to 3 hours, you will create a jewelry blank for the pendant or earrings, file it, sand it and give it a very individual structure. The appropriate eyelets or earhooks are then bent and attached to the piece of jewelry.
You will then determine your ring sizes and make a suitable individual ring with the prefabricated ring blanks.
If you want, you could also do partial hand gilding or patination or painting of your jewelry. Depending on your mood and taste.
Up to 8 participants are possible, and you are also welcome to bring one or two people to watch and support. But please let us know in advance so that we have enough chairs.
During the course, we will also be happy to show you a short film showing how the ring blanks were made by us in our silversmith.
We are also happy to show you some jewelry from our latest collection, to inspire your own collections or to take away.
The loft-like modern course room is located on the second floor of the former community center (Bürgertreff). Unfortunately, there is no lift.
What you’ll do in the class
After a short introduction, we will work out their own design with the individual participants and then help to create a very individual piece of jewelry using the techniques of silver processing.
