About this Tour
Explore Lüneburg directly with your smartphone while playing the city rally “The Breakthrough - Source of Life”. Solve puzzles at famous landmarks, be carried away by the story of the salt trade and win the game. After booking, you will receive all necessary information via email.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Tickets: You only need 1 ticket per group (1-6 people) and you can carry out the event at your desired time. You are not bound to the booked time.
- You can start whenever you want, even if you've booked a different time or day.
- Each group plays with 1 device. For groups of more than 6 people (maximum 50), you can buy 2 or more tickets.
- This is a private tour just for you! The label “public appointment” means that other groups could theoretically also play for themselves at the same time. You're not playing with strangers.

The story begins in 1396 in Lüneburg: The construction of the Stecknitz Canal was intended to bring the precious salt from Lüneburg to Lübeck more quickly. But sewer construction is in danger of failing! Henry of Lüneburg had the entrance blocked. It is now up to you to make peace and find a solution!
Work in a team (1-6 people per group). If you have more than 6 people, we recommend splitting up into several small groups. You can also test which group is the fastest!
Puzzle yourself from station to station with the help of our city map. Solve puzzles about Lüneburg's most beautiful sights and learn more about the salt trade. The exact stations remain part of the game and are not listed here. At the stations, you will find tips on how to solve the puzzles.
Move at your own pace and take breaks as you please. The duration is approximately 2 to 3 hours. The destination is in the old town of Lüneburg, near the German Salt Museum.
Steps of the tour
You don't need to create a request if your exact start time isn't available in the booking tool. The rally can be started at any time and you don't need to talk to us about it. Even if there is bad weather on game day or something else comes up, you can play the game at any time within a year of purchase. Here, too, you don't need to send us a request, the booked ticket is automatically activated.
