About this Tour
The special wine hike in Rüdesheim combines wine tasting, nature experience and history — an unforgettable experience in the Rheingau.
You start with a glass of homemade Secco at the Historical Music Cabinet, where there are already a few surprises for you. When you are equipped with your equipment, you're ready to go. Past the world-famous Drosselgasse to our cable car, which takes us towards the Niederwald.
Once there, the first wines await you to taste. And rest assured: Your glass will be happy to be refilled. We have more than just a small glass. Of course, we have exciting stories about the region, wine and viticulture — and a sensational view of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This tour offers wonderful wines, good music and a relaxed atmosphere, without cluttered history. As much as possible, no more than necessary. There is a little surprise for you at the Rebenhaus.
You can walk through our vineyards, back to Rüdesheim with your favorite music.

Steps of the tour
Under the motto “Float above the vines”, the wine hiking tour starts with a glass of Secco in Rüdesheim's old town at the music cabinet. Then take the cable car to Germania and enjoy the view. The wine tasting starts at Germania, followed by a hike through the vineyards back to Rüdesheim. At the end, there is a snack. With wine, of course.
