  • Monday — Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Experience the individual wine hike “Rhine, Stone and Wine” on the Kaiserstuhl with your team or group — a flexible natural and culinary experience that you design according to your own rhythm.

The starting point is the Sasbacher Winzerkeller, where you will be greeted with a stylish champagne reception (can be booked separately). Then, equipped with a cooling backpack, four high-quality wines, matching glasses and a detailed route flyer, you will set off on an approximately 6 km long hike through the impressive volcanic landscape. The route leads over sunny vineyards, forests and open fields — with far-reaching views of the Rhine, the Vosges and the Black Forest. Time and again, cozy rest areas invite you to relax, toast and enjoy.

An ideal experience for groups who appreciate wine, nature and flexibility — completely without a guide, but with maximum freedom.

Steps of the tour

Arrival at the Sasbach Winegrower: Group welcome and optional champagne reception to get the day started (on request, additional costs).

Equipment & briefing: You will receive your cooler pack, stocked with four carefully selected wines (0.75 l each), four wine glasses and matching glass holders for hanging around your neck. In addition, you will receive a clear route flyer with information about the route and a link to digital navigation via Komoot.

Start of the wine hike: The tour starts directly at the winegrower's cellar and takes about 6 km through varied landscapes. Dirt roads, forest sections and asphalted routes with an altitude difference of approx. 240 meters await you — easy to tackle, even for larger groups.

Enjoyment with a view: The route offers numerous opportunities for breaks, picnics or wine tastings with a view — for example with views of the Rhine, the Vosges or the surrounding vineyards. Many rest areas are equipped with benches or tables.

Individual end: After returning home, you can end the day comfortably in the Sasbacher Winzerkeller wine shop or join your own group program.
