About this class
In this workshop, you will learn about the versatile material casting powder (raysin). After an introduction to materials science, you will create your own terrazzo chips in your desired colors.
In the second step, mix the terrazzo chips with stirred casting compound into silicone molds of your choice. This creates your own terrazzo series of individual home decoration objects such as decorative bowls, trays, coasters, cans or candle holders.
After hardening, sand your objects so that the terrazzo effect comes into its own. You take your finished unique pieces straight home.
What you’ll do in the class
After a short welcome and introduction, we will show you how to use casting powder step by step. You will learn about the special terrazzo technique and put it into practice directly. You then pour your desired objects, let them harden and finish them with sanding blocks. We will accompany you throughout the workshop and provide you with tips and inspiration.

The workshop is ideal for beginners and advanced users. You don't need any previous knowledge — just a desire to be creative. Also perfect for groups of friends or family, creative breaks or as a special experience.
