What you’ll do in the class
After a brief welcome, you will first get to know Monyo (), traditional Japanese patterns, and the color world of traditional Japanese colors.
Then design your tablet step by step:
- Introduction to Monyo and Japanese colors
- Select a monyo pattern and color combination
- Grind and prepare wooden elements
- Color wood elements
- Assemble individual parts
- Mount the tray
- Recent adjustments and completion
Finally, we pack your finished tray in a hand-dyed washi paper bag so that you can take it straight home.
