What you’ll do in the class
After a brief welcome, discover Monyo, traditional Japanese patterns, and a range of traditional Japanese colors.
Then design your tray step by step:
- Explore Monyo and Japanese colors.
- Select a Monyo pattern and color combination.
- Sand and prepare the wooden elements.
- Color the wooden elements.
- Assemble the individual parts.
- Fit the tray together.
- Add final adjustments and finishing touches.
Finally, we pack your finished tray in a hand-dyed washi paper bag for you to take home.
