About this experience
How does this experience take place?
After a brief welcome, you will receive all materials and first get to know Monyo and the meaning of the various Japanese patterns.
Then build your lamp step by step:
- Introduction to Monyo — Japanese patterns and their meaning — approx. 10 min.
- Sanding — carefully preparing wooden elements — approx. 30 min.
- Pickling — treating the wooden elements — approx. 20 min.
- Stick on shoji paper — approx. 20 min.
- Mount feet — approx. 20 min.
- Assemble the lamp — approx. 20 min.
- Insert lighting element — approx. 10 min.
- Final adjustments and completion — approx. 10 min.
Finally, your finished lamp is packed in a hand-dyed washi paper bag and is ready to be taken home.
Duration: approx. 3 hours

What to bring?
