About this class
In this creative polymer clay jewelry workshop in Düsseldorf, you design your own modern fashion jewelry. With polymer clay, you create individual elements, play with colors, textures and shapes and develop your own personal style. Your designs are then hardened in the oven and combined with high-quality stainless steel, steel or wood elements. In a relaxed atmosphere, you can create unique pieces of jewelry within three hours — perfect as a personal statement or as a handmade gift.
What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome and brief introduction to materials, tools and techniques related to polymer clay and jewelry design
- Inspiration for color combinations, shapes and design options
- Development of your ideas and optional small sketches for your jewelry design
- Modelling individual decorative elements from polymer clay
- Harden clay elements in the oven for stability and durability
- A short break while your jewelry is being hardened in the oven
- Assembly of your jewelry with stainless steel components, rings and hooks
- Individual support and creative tips throughout the workshop
- Presentation of finished jewelry and optional souvenir photo
- Your finished costume jewelry can be worn directly or given away
Who is the class suitable for?
The workshop is ideal for anyone aged 15 and over who wants to get creative and create their own jewelry. No previous experience is required — both beginners and advanced creative professionals are welcome.
Also perfect as a shared experience with friends, for birthdays, hen parties or creative team events with up to 6 people.
