About this class
In this workshop, learn how to create a magical wall hanging step by step, or knot by knot. We'll show you the most important techniques of macrame art. In the end, you take your high-quality unique DIY item with you — perfect as a gift or for your own home.
When the weather is nice, the workshop takes place outside on our terrace — with a view of the huge natural garden.
What you’ll do in the class
After you park right in front of our entrance, you enter the inviting lobby. Here you can safely park your jacket and shoes before heading on to the creative room. Imagine an old, cozy building — truly a listed building — with chandeliers and baroque chairs. The perfect environment for creative hours.
You can drink as much water (still or sparkling) as much as you like. You can also treat yourself to coffee specialties or a delicious tea.
Diana, our course instructor, gives you a short introduction and presents all materials and techniques. Step by step, you make a beautiful macrame wall hanging together.
After a short round of feedback, you pack up your own work of art and proudly present it at home.
Who is the class suitable for?
This workshop is ideal for anyone who likes to be creative. Come alone and get to know like-minded people — or bring your best friend along. Children can participate from the age of 10.

At Curious Kids in western Cologne, you'll get creative in a mix of historic castle and modern glass building. Everyone is free to develop here. We give you a variety of materials, tools, techniques and ideas. You create your own special work of art out of it.
