About this class

Dive into the exciting world of abstract painting! In this intensive art workshop in Hamburg, you have the opportunity to develop your creativity in a completely new way. Under the guidance of two experienced artists, you will receive personal support and creative inspiration in a small group of a maximum of 8 participants. Regardless of whether you are picking up a brush for the first time or already have experience in painting — here you will find the space to realize your own artistic ideas.

The workshop is designed in such a way that you can experiment with different materials such as acrylic paints, textured materials and mixed media. You will not only learn techniques, but also find your own unique way of expressing yourself. Enjoy 3 hours full of inspiration, sharing, and artistic freedom to create your work and develop yourself. Experience the relaxed atmosphere in the artist studio and let the other participants and artists motivate you to express your creative side!

Who is the class suitable for?

This workshop is ideal for all art enthusiasts, whether beginners or advanced students, who want to further develop their abstract painting skills. Also for creative people who simply want to try something new.

Can also be booked for private groups of 4 to 8 people.

The workshop will only take place with at least 4 participants, otherwise the date will be rescheduled.

What is included in the class?

All materials: high-quality canvas (small size 40x50cm or 50x50cm as required), acrylic paints in any shade, various textured materials
Painter's aprons and possibly gloves
Individual support and creative inspiration from two experienced artists
Small snacks depending on the time of day and appropriate drinks (coffee, tea, water, etc.)

The workshop can also be booked exclusively for groups or as a team event. Bookable for a minimum of 4 people.

I went to Josi's art workshop today and I'm really impressed. I was actually in a lot of pain and wanted to cancel the appointment first, but I went there anyway — and that was the best decision. Josi gave us a very warm welcome and explained everything calmly and lovingly. During the three hours, I was able to completely switch off, work creatively and simply forget everyday life and stress. I also really learned a lot during this time. Working with the colors and structures was incredibly fun and the atmosphere was simply beautiful. A huge compliment to you, dear Josi! I will definitely be back and have already booked a new course.

The workshop was very successful all round. The studio offered a feel-good atmosphere in which you could immediately switch off and be creative. Josi supervised all participants with great sensitivity. As a result, the atmosphere was very harmonious and the loving culinary service made the hours even more special. What a lovely course! The atmosphere was incredibly nice and warm, but at the same time very professional. We were asked again and again whether we needed help or needed anything else. What I particularly liked was how honest they were with each other. When I asked Josie for her opinion on my painting or the way forward, she not only praised it, but also made constructive suggestions as to where I could still change and improve something. I thought it was really good! In addition to art, there are also very delicious snacks and something to drink. Makes the atmosphere even more charming than it already was. I can only recommend the course.
