About this class

Discover the fascinating potential of mycelium — a living, sustainable material.

In this practice-oriented creative workshop in Vienna, you will learn the basics of handling mushrooms and learn how to grow your own design objects. To do this, we will introduce you to ceramic techniques and use them to shape mycelium objects. You create unique pieces such as lampshades, vases or sculptural forms — a combination of natural growth and personal artistic expression.

No previous experience is necessary — just curiosity and creativity.

Dominik and Gaia led the workshop in a very warm way. We felt very comfortable and are excited to see what our mycelium pots will look like. Please feel free to expand on further workshop ideas around this topic! I can highly recommend this workshop to anyone who likes to knead and shape “dough” and exchange ideas with friendly people!
