About this class
Create your own decorative object from Jesmonite and discover a modern, versatile casting material. In our Jesmonite workshop in Hamburg, you will learn how to implement individual designs with mineral casting resin — from clear color blocking to flowing marble effects. With various techniques and details such as glitter or gold accents, unique objects are created that are shockproof and fire retardant.

What you’ll do in the class
We start with an introduction to the special features and functionality of Jesmonite. Immediately afterwards, pour a small test mold to try out marbling effects and the feel of the material for the first time.
While this test form hardens, we will explain further techniques and go into more detail about the design options. You then have time to freely design up to three other shapes of your choice (e.g. candle holders or bowls). Finally, your objects are sanded, sealed and packaged for the way home.
Who is the class suitable for?
The workshop is suitable for anyone who wants to try something new and get creative — regardless of whether you're working with Jesmonite for the first time or already have experience. You don't need any previous knowledge, we'll explain everything step by step and help you create your own pieces. The course is recommended for people aged 14 and over.
