About this class
The photo course location: Urban Exploration & Graffiti Gallery
On this photo walk, we want to photographically explore the former US listening station on Teufelsberg. The complex from the 1950s has been empty since 1999 and has a veritable goldmine of motifs for adventurous photographers.
Friends of dilapidated buildings and urban exploration will get their money's worth here and the atmosphere of transience can be felt around every corner. Over the years, the area has become more and more occupied by nature and has also become one of the largest graffiti galleries in Europe.
Of course, the roof landscape with the distinctive remains of the radar domes and an unforgettable view of Berlin should not be missed.
Our topics & content in the photo course:
- Find motifs and stage them effectively
- Image composition and structure
- Perspective and point of view as a means of design
- The effect of different focal lengths
- Pol-filter: influence reflections and contrast
What you’ll do in the class
How does the photo workshop in Berlin work?
In the photo course, we want to practice and optimize how to use our own camera as well as sharpen our “photographic vision” and take time to consciously build up images. I'll help you bring order to the visual chaos, find interesting image sections and work out new image ideas.
Always true to the motto: take pictures instead of taking pictures!
