About this class
In this DIY workshop in Dachau, we build a small, fine box with a passe-partout cutout.
This serves as a hanging frame for individually designed pictures, with a new one always moving right to the front as you please. We use the afternoon to design the content. This can be done entirely in the spirit of a mood board with small reminders, wishes and ideas, or even completely freely.
What you’ll do in the class
We'll start with a brief introduction to the materials and what to expect.
Then I will guide you step by step through the production of the passe-partout box. In addition to my support, a detailed handout will provide you with excellent support. I work in small groups to guarantee personal attention. Everyone has their own work pace at which I will pick you up. The time is set up in such a way that we can work completely stress-free. There will also be plenty of breaks and time to laugh!
In the second half of the workshop - when you have finished the box - it's time to design the content (9.2 x 9.2 cm). There are no limits to your creativity here. From printing, collaging, painting, drawing to writing, everything is possible to design the contents of your box. For people who find it a bit more difficult to find an idea for themselves, I always have a few suggestions ready.
Who is the class suitable for?
This workshop is ideal for creative people, adventurers and DIY fans — suitable for both beginners and advanced users. No previous experience required.
