About this class
The focus is on collage, which offers us endless possibilities for visual expression. This is complemented by techniques such as underpainting and overpainting, printing and printing. We work with hands, brushes and pens; we glue, paint over, scratch and sand — and in the end we hold a complex, very personal work of art in our hands.
Who is the workshop suitable for?
The course is suitable for beginners and advanced learners — no previous knowledge is required. I am available to accompany you and you can answer all your questions on the subject.
What you’ll do in the class
This course offers you one thing in particular: precious time for your creativity and a moment to slow down. We start with a brief introduction to the various materials and options. We then set out to find a goal, a motive, a possible implementation of our own ideas. If desired, we will discuss with each other how the path to a finished work can be taken. Questions and help are of course always available. There will be plenty of time for quiet, relaxed work. The exchange between each other is enriching, but not absolutely necessary. The aim is to take the first steps on your own path in artistic work by getting to know the various options. As a course instructor, I will support you with my knowledge and experience.
Who is the class suitable for?
The course is suitable for all people, regardless of age, who want to get to know the endless possibilities of collage. It is aimed in particular at everyone who thinks of themselves as “I can't do art!” The only requirement is curiosity and the desire to try things out. No one is rated!
