Take a pause from the everyday and spend a soulful evening at &Friends, where time slows down and your hands get to play. Clay & Calm is your invitation to reconnect—with your creativity, with your senses, and with yourself.
For two gentle hours, we'll shape, sculpt, sip and simply be. You'll receive 500g of soft, earthy clay and the freedom to create whatever flows—guided by your intuition, with inspiration and simple techniques shared along the way. Whether you've never touched clay before or have a few pieces at home, this evening is about process over perfection.
A glass of wine in hand, good company around you, and your hands deep in clay—it's the kind of therapy that doesn't need words. We'll fire your pieces for you after the session, and you'll be invited back to glaze and color them during one of our next gatherings.

What you’ll do in the class
Clay & Calm is a slow, grounding workshop where you'll work with air-dry clay to create simple, tactile objects while enjoying a moment of calm.
After a warm welcome, you'll be introduced to the clay and a few easy hand-building techniques such as shaping, pinching, and smoothing. You can create small bowls, trays, candle holders, or free-form pieces — whatever feels right in the moment.
The focus is not on perfection, but on the calming process of working with your hands. You'll be gently guided throughout, with space to slow down, experiment, and enjoy the meditative quality of clay.
