About this class
Sound, wine & focus — your creative break in the studio
Get away from everyday life and find your focus.
Leave the stress of the city below and dive into the inspiring peace of our light-filled studio in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg (4th floor). This is not about perfection, but about conscious experience. When building by hand with clay, you leave the stress of everyday life behind you layer by layer.
Pottery, dialogue, arrive — and feel pure focus:
In a relaxed and empowering atmosphere, you create your very own Boobie Cup using hand-building technology — a cup with breasts, stomach or butt, just the way you want it. Whether round or pointed, symmetrical or wild: You don't need any previous knowledge, just joy in designing and curiosity to do things together.
An overview of your time off:
- Breathe deeply & balance: Use haptic work with sound to find inner peace. Clay construction techniques impress with the beauty of imperfection — each ceramic is unique.
- Academic support: You will be guided by an experienced artist (diploma & master from the UdK Berlin/ studies in England). With great sensitivity, she accompanies your individual project right at the table.
- Creative freedom: Use stamps for texts or names as well as tools for engraving to give your mug a very personal message.
- Enjoy with a clear conscience: Your creative journey is accompanied by fine organic wines from the Knöll & Vogel winery. Sustainably produced and supporting bird protection — a round break for all senses.
A place to connect: Are you
looking for a special experience for your group (6—15 people)? We offer the perfect setting to get creative together, talk in depth and finally hold your own cup in your hands.
Let go of stress. Find your focus. Arrive with us.
- Please ask for individual appointment requests for groups aged 6-16, we will always find a suitable date.
What you’ll do in the class
- After being greeted in front of the entrance and the main entrance door, we take the lift together to the studio floor on the 4th floor.
- Since you can only enter the building with a transponder, we ask you to arrive punctually.
- After a brief introduction, this pottery course gives us an insight into beading and adhesive construction techniques. We test the techniques and make individual Booby cups.
Optionally, you can burn and glaze your pottery:
Scrubbing fire, also known as cookie brandy, allows ceramics to solidify.
In addition, we offer the engobe technique, where you can use engobe glazes to paint your finished clay works directly on site.
We will fire them twice for you after the engobe glaze and then process them with transparent glaze after the biscuit brand/scrub fire.
This also makes your ceramics food safe/waterproof & beautifully shiny.
You can decide this on the spot.
After about 3-5 weeks, your pottery will be fired and glazed twice.
Please pick up your works after the first email with a collection date no later than 2 weeks later. Due to lack of space, we cannot store everything for everyone for a very long time.
On request, we will find an individual pick-up date and a solution for you.
From time to time, our studio dog is there, a very lovely golden retriever lady:)
