About this class
In the “The Art of Wood Painting” course, you create unique motifs directly on a real tree disk — a natural, rustic and at the same time warm format with a very special charm. The lively wooden background makes each work unique and gives your pictures depth and character.
You have the freedom to create different pictorial worlds: atmospheric landscape scenes with sky, mountains and trees, or blooming flowers and delicate blossoms.

If you don't have a location yet, we will check one of our partner locations in your city free of charge after your binding booking. Please note that locations — e.g. on public holidays — may have their own conditions. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee requests for specific districts, but we will of course check the best possible options for you. Food and drinks are coordinated directly with the location. - A flat brush and a round brush made from durable Toray special hair (synthetic)
- 12 brilliant water-based acrylic paints from Marabu — the traditional company with over 160 years of experience in sustainable paint production “Made in Germany”
- ArtNight apron to protect your clothes — so you can concentrate fully on the creative process

What you’ll do in the class
With various painting techniques, such as pasty paint application and glazing layers, you will learn how to use colors specifically to give your flowers liveliness, depth and fine details. By layering, setting highlights and carefully combining shades, an atmospheric interplay of structure, light and natural elegance is created.
