About this experience
Experience a unique outdoor adventure that combines escape room, crime tour and interactive puzzle. On this puzzle tour in Düsseldorf, you will be accompanied by an actor who will always remain in his role and will discreetly help you when needed. Here you don't solve virtual puzzles on a tablet, but - just like in an escape room - you solve real puzzles, open locks and examine investigative documents. Since everything revolves around Altbier, there is of course also something to try (alternatively soft drinks).
The story: Adulterated Altbier has been appearing in Düsseldorf's old town for some time. Following several incidents involving visitors to the old town who had to go to hospital with acute nausea, an investigative commission was set up led by Chief Commissioner Ürig-Fuchs. Support the investigator in his work.
How does this experience take place?
The meeting point for this tour is the Düsseldorf Police's Old Town Guard at Heinrich-Heine-Allee 1, where Chief Inspector Ürig-Fuchs or one of his colleagues will be there to accompany you throughout the tour. You must find hidden clues, decipher them and interpret them correctly. That's how you finally find out about the adulterators. You will also visit a pub and a house brewery, where — all as part of the investigative work, of course — there are two different old beers (or, optionally, soft drinks).
On this tour, you are about 2 kilometers on foot in the old town - but in between there are always breaks with seating and toilets.
Who is it suitable for
This tour is specially designed for small to medium-sized groups (5 to approx. 14 people), making it perfect for company outings, incentives, team events, bachelor parties or a weekend with the club in Düsseldorf.
This tour is also intended for puzzle beginners. All puzzles are good and easy to solve. It is not a city tour, but an interactive outdoor escape game in which you become part of the story. If you don't know what to do, your guide, who will accompany you exclusively, will certainly be able to help you. He stays in his role the whole time - just accept it. Due to the theme and puzzles, this tour is not for younger children, so there is a minimum age of 14 years. According to legal requirements, beer is of course only available from the age of 16. There will then be soft drinks for the younger participants. The same applies, of course, to anyone who doesn't like Altbier.
