About this class

In this workshop, we tie our advent wreaths with natural, sustainable materials from our homes and urban nature: dried flower bouquets, wild-growing grasses and leaves from our courtyards and green waste from local nurseries.

You will learn the basic wreath tying technique and, based on this, you can let your imagination run wild. Feel free to bring materials that you have at home and would like to use — but you don't have to! A wide selection of branches, grasses, leaves and dried flowers is available on site so that you can design your individual, unique Christmas wreath.

What you’ll do in the class

We start with a short introduction to wreath tying techniques and materials. Then put together your selection of branches, grasses, dried flowers and leaves and then it's time to tie: Step by step, you design your individual advent wreath and can let your creativity run wild. Finally, your wreath gets the finishing touches — ready to take away and as a sustainable, personal eye-catcher for your home.

Who is the class suitable for?

For anyone who wants to experiment with natural materials and create their own advent wreath. You don't need any previous knowledge — just feel like trying things out!
