- Briefing: the game master explains the rules and introduces you to the story.
- Game start: the clock starts – usually with a 60-minute limit.
- Solve the puzzles: you search for clues like puzzles, keys, number combinations or buttons and solve them together. Some objects are just there to distract you.
- Hints: if you get stuck, the game master watches via camera and gives hints when needed.
- Exit: once every puzzle is solved, the final door usually opens. You finish with a souvenir photo and matching props.
Escape room as a team event
Escape games build cooperation, which makes them a great fit for a team event: to solve the exit puzzle, everyone has to share clues and combine them cleverly. An escape room is also ideal for a bachelor party or birthday.
Frequently asked questions about escape rooms

- How long does an escape room take? Usually an hour, sometimes 90 minutes, plus the briefing and group photo.
