Karen is super nice and gave good tips. The workshop was nice, pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, one major shortcoming: The candles have turned out pretty, but they don't smell when they burn. You would probably have needed more essential oil after all.

Karen's workshop was super interesting and really fun. We were 8 participants, which was very pleasant. Karen explained everything well, likeably and funny, accessible and approachable, and we learned a lot about the components of our natural cosmetics. She addressed personal skin conditions individually, so that in the end, each of us had the right products.
The room is a bit cold in winter, so you should dress a bit warmer ;-) But the fresh herbal tea has contributed to your well-being. Thanks for the great course!

Karen Rose's natural cosmetics workshop was a wonderful experience! She explained each ingredient in detail, their effect on the skin and what you should pay attention to when making them. The small, pleasant group allowed her to respond to everyone individually, and you could try out a lot of things on your own. The four manufactured products were a real highlight. Overall, a very vivid, interesting and absolutely recommended workshop!

The atmosphere in the studio was super pleasant and we felt very comfortable. Not only were there drinks for us, but also lovely advice and support throughout the process. The course with and with Karen was really fun! Karen gave us some theory and background knowledge at the beginning and then we were able to get started right away and cast our own terrazzo plants. She immediately helped out with questions, so that really great pieces were created in the end. I'm really impressed and it certainly won't be the last time I cast terrazzo.:)

The course was really fun. First, the individual work steps were roughly explained and then it started. In between, there were short breaks to relax while the materials dried. You were very well looked after and could always ask questions and at the end of the course you immediately have a nice result that you can take home with you. Highly recommended:)

Get to know Karen Rose
I am Karen Rose, a trained architect, born and raised in Berlin and live here with my family.
I have been giving creative workshops on sustainability since 2016. At team events, at events, in schools or for private individuals. I love sharing my knowledge in order to give many others the opportunity to live more sustainably and without waste. That is why I co-founded the Zero Waste Association in Berlin in 2018, among other things.
