Burnt Sienna Art School Berlin book classes

Burnt Sienna is an independent oil painting school and artist community based in Berlin, offering high-level training in traditional painting and drawing techniques within a warm, supportive studio environment.

This workshop takes place in our beautiful academic-style studio in Charlottenburg, inspired by the atmosphere of the Florence ateliers and London art schools. Students work with professional-quality oil paints and materials in small groups with plenty of individual guidance.

The session is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with previous experience. During the workshop, participants are introduced to traditional oil painting techniques, colour mixing, paint handling and observational painting in a relaxed but focused atmosphere.

Our goal is not only to provide an inspiring creative experience, but to give students practical skills and confidence so they can continue painting beyond the workshop. Burnt Sienna regularly welcomes artists, students and creatives from around the world, creating a unique international studio community in Berlin.
