On the TripleAP bike tour scavenger hunt with Vega, Cosmo and Cupcake, you and your children will discover Lake Senftenberg — a natural paradise that used to be an open-cast coal mine! On your own and at your own pace. If you need a break along the way, want to have a picnic on the lakeside, or want to climb up an observation tower, go ahead! The aim of the bike tour scavenger hunt is not only to guess the answer, but also to spend an active and entertaining day with your children. And perhaps on the way to learn something about the fascinating transformation of an industrial landscape into a recreation area and the local flora and fauna.
The route: Your bike tour scavenger hunt takes you around Lake Senftenberg for 19 kilometers. You start at Senftenberg Harbour and then cycle along the picturesque shore, past observation towers with breathtaking panoramic views, through restored landscapes and forests until you reach the harbor again. The perfect place to recharge your batteries after your tour and discuss your experiences together. At which stations do you stop along the way? Well, there must also be a bit of surprise.
Start and meeting point: You will be given directions in the scavenger hunt box on the game instructions.
PLEASE NOTE
The scavenger hunt box will be sent to you by post. This normally takes 2-4 working days within Germany.
You only need 1 box per group (1—5 people), if you have more people, we recommend that you buy two or more tickets. You can carry out the bike tour scavenger hunt at any time and you are not bound to the date and time chosen when booking.
The box contains 1 souvenir set for 1 child. If you have several children, you can order additional souvenir sets and bike cards for 1 euro each.
❗ Important: This tour is a bike ride! Every family member needs a functional bike. The route is mostly flat and well paved — perfect even for children aged 8 and over who can ride a bicycle safely.
What awaits you inside this kit?
1st box received You will receive our high-quality metal box conveniently sent to your home by post. It contains everything you need for the bike tour scavenger hunt: an illustrated bike map with the route around Lake Senftenberg, linked puzzle cards for all 13 stations (plus 1 bonus station!) , a sealed envelope with tips and solutions (only for adults!) , a pen and a souvenir set (sticker sheet + cupcake pin). That's when you're ready to go!
2. Start at Senftenberg Harbour The first map shows the instructions with the starting point and directions. Get on your bikes and make your way to Senftenberg Harbour. Once there, read the first puzzle map and get to know Vega, Cosmo and Cupcake — your companions on this journey of discovery of nature!
3. From station to station With your bundled puzzle cards, you cycle from natural highlight to natural highlight. A total of 13 stations await you (plus 1 bonus station for those who are particularly curious!) — On each one, you read the appropriate map, learn something about the transformation from an open-cast mine to a lake, the local nature and exciting facts, solve creative puzzles and master fun tasks. At each station, you will receive a secret letter — write it down carefully!
4. At your own pace, you cycle around the lake in a relaxed way — an average of about 1.5 km between stations. Do you need a break? Do you want to have a picnic on the shore or climb an observation tower? No problem! The bike tour scavenger hunt is waiting for you.
5. The grand finale Once you've arrived back at Senftenberg Harbour, use all the letters you've collected to crack the answer. Did you make it? Then a little surprise is waiting for you! You can proudly take home your souvenir set with the vivid sticker sheet (shows symbols of Lake Senftenberg such as observation towers, sailboats, local animals) and the matching round cupcake mouse pin.
After the adventure: The sturdy metal box will be a treasure trove of memories! Store your collected stickers, adventure photos, tickets, or other souvenirs there. This will keep the memory of your special Senftenberg Lake Day alive!
Don't worry about failure! If you get stuck — the sealed envelope contains all tips and solutions. Parents can check and help. No one gets stuck!
