On the TripleAP scavenger hunt with Vega, Cosmo and Cupcake, you and your children will discover Nuremberg's medieval old town. On your own and at your own pace. If you need a break along the way, want to eat a Nuremberg bratwurst or want to explore the city wall for a longer period of time, then go ahead! The aim of the scavenger hunt is not only to guess the answer, but also to spend a nice and entertaining day with your children. And maybe learn something about Nuremberg's history, medieval life and famous artists along the way.
The route: Your scavenger hunt starts at the Frauentor, one of the historic city gates. It continues through Nuremberg's medieval alleys — past the Nassau House and Holy Spirit Hospital to the main market square with the Frauenkirche, up to the imposing Old Town Hall and the mighty Kaiserburg. Then it's off to the famous Albrecht Dürer House, through the picturesque Weißgerbergasse along the city wall. You end at the historic executioner's tower with a view of the Pegnitz. The perfect place to recharge your batteries after your tour and discuss your experiences together. At which stations do you stop along the way? Well, there must also be a bit of surprise.
Start and meeting point: You will be given directions in the scavenger hunt box on the game instructions.
PLEASE NOTE
The scavenger hunt box will be sent to you by post. This normally takes 2-4 working days within Germany.
You only need 1 box per group (1—5 people), if you have more people, we recommend buying two or more tickets. You can carry out the scavenger hunt at any time and you are not bound to the date and time you chose when booking.
The box contains 1 souvenir set for 1 child. If you have several children, you can order additional souvenir sets and city cards for €1 each.
What awaits you inside this kit?
1st box received You will receive our high-quality metal box conveniently by post to your home or directly to the hotel in Nuremberg. It contains everything you need for the scavenger hunt: an illustrated city map, bound puzzle cards for all 12 stations, a sealed envelope with clues and solutions (only for adults!) , a pen and a souvenir set (sticker sheet + cupcake pin). That's when you're ready to go!
2. Start at the Women's Gate The first map shows the instructions with the starting point and directions. Make your way to the Women's Gate with its impressive city wall. Once there, read the first puzzle map and get to know Vega, Cosmo and Cupcake — your companions through medieval Nuremberg!
3. From station to station With your bundled puzzle cards, you can go from medieval landmark to historic site. A total of 12 stations await you — at each one you will read the appropriate map, learn something about Nuremberg's history and famous personalities, solve exciting puzzles and complete fun tasks. At each station, you will receive a secret letter — write it down carefully!
4. At your own pace, you move around the city in a relaxed way — only 250 meters between stations on average, perfect for small legs! Do you need a break? Do you want to eat an original Nuremberg bratwurst or enjoy the view from the Kaiserburg? No problem! The scavenger hunt is waiting for you.
5. The grand finale At the end of the executioner tower on Pegnitz, you use all the letters you have collected to crack the answer. Did you make it? Then a little surprise is waiting for you! You can proudly take home your souvenir set with the vivid sticker sheet (shows iconic Nuremberg symbols such as the Kaiserburg, the Dürer House, the city wall, pretzel and “hello” speech bubble) and the matching round cupcake mouse pin.
After the adventure: The sturdy metal box will be a treasure trove of memories! Store your collected stickers, adventure photos, tickets, or other souvenirs there. This will keep the memory of your special Nuremberg day alive!
Don't worry about failure! If you get stuck — the sealed envelope contains all tips and solutions. Parents can check and help. No one gets stuck!
