About this class
Learn about the materials and craft of pottery in a small group (3-5 people) during this pottery course in Frankfurt. During the pottery course, make your own ceramic objects of your imagination. You will be taught various hand assembly and glazing techniques.

What you’ll do in the class
Pottery course day 1:
- 4 hours hand building techniques.
- You will learn the basic techniques and basic knowledge about ceramics.
- You can make everyday objects such as cups, plates, and vases, or sculptural objects.
- I will be with you!
Pottery course day 2:4 hours
Hand-building & decoration techniques using clay.
- On this day, you have the opportunity to further develop the pottery techniques you have learned, as well as to refine and decorate the first pieces you have made.
- After one day, the pottery will be hard as leather, which is perfect for carving a pattern or gluing a clay handle to a mug, painting with engobes, and more.
Pottery course day 3:
- 2.5 hours glaze.
- Choose glazes according to your ideas.
- The pieces have already been fired up to 950°C and can now be glazed before being fired at 1250°C.
