What you’ll do in the class
- You get 3 different types of clay: an undyed tone and 2 colored types of clay of your choice. I'll show you how you can combine them to create your own designs. This motif can take shape and bring a plate, a cup or stackable bowls to life. I would be happy to assist you with design development.
- Here it quickly becomes clear that the same technique produces different results and that everyone creates an individual piece in the end. Because it's not just about technology, it's also about your own handwriting.
- With the remaining sound, I'll show you a second technique with which you can design an individual plate.
- Due to the small group size of a maximum of 6 participants, you have enough time to try things out and I can provide you with intensive and individual support.
- Each person produces approx. 2-4 pieces, depending on the effort and size.
- After the course, I will continue working on your work of art: I burn and glaze it with a transparent glaze that brings out the colors of the clay in particular and at the same time makes it suitable for everyday use.
- I will then notify you as soon as your items are ready for collection. This takes approximately 3 to 6 weeks.
