About this class
At the tufting workshop in Munich, you design your own rug — according to your ideas. After an introduction to the tufting gun, you will implement your desired motif step by step. Whether you're a beginner or with experience: Here you'll find space for creativity and receive professional support. In the end, you take your individual work of art home. All materials, snacks and drinks are included.
The size of the rug is ideal for creating a small cushion or a new decorative wall picture.
What you’ll do in the class
- Selecting and adapting your desired theme before the workshop
- Transferring the design to the fabric
- Brief introduction to the tufting gun
- Step-by-step tufting of your design
- Glue the back and optionally attach a non-slip pad or hook
- Trim and shave the rug for clean lines and colors
- Bring your finished rug (size 30 x 30 cm)
Who is the class suitable for?
The workshop is aimed at everyone aged 16 and over who is interested in creative handwork — regardless of whether you are tufting for the first time or want to deepen your technique. There are special parent-child workshops for younger participants. No previous experience is required.
