About this class
Do you love plants and flowers? How about building your own plant terrarium then? After the course, you will know everything about mini terrariums and will be able to maintain your own ecosystem.
What is included?
You get all the material for your mini ecosystem, so you don't have to bring anything with you. Utensils include:
- substratum
- plants
- glass vessel
- gravel
At the end of the workshop, we will give you a few more care tips so that you can take good care of your plant terrarium in the future!
Where does the course take place?
We meet at the KLL Studio in Berlin Mitte and build closed terrariums with tropical plants together. We are already looking forward to your participation!
What you’ll do in the class
Making your own tropical terrarium is actually very easy. First, we'll look at how a terrarium actually works. Because you have to water it very little: circular economy on a small scale!
- You will learn about the exciting story of terrariums
- Then we build a 25 cm high (5L) closed terrarium
- You will receive support from us throughout the course

Petite Jungle
Petite Jungle is a terrarium studio in Berlin, founded by landscape architect Aurélie Morgen. The mini ecosystems of plants and moss only need to be watered three times a year! With great attention to detail, Aurélie will guide you through the production of your own terrarium.
The instructions were knowledgeable, the company friendly and the result was very nice.
