About this class
Discover the art of pottery in Leipzig and make your own cup and cereal bowl by hand. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the intuitive pinch technique to create individual ceramic pieces. In a relaxed atmosphere, our course instructor will show you all the steps — from shaping to glazing. Your works are dried, glazed and fired after 4-5 weeks. Experience creativity and craftsmanship and take home a unique piece.
What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome & introduction to the pinch technique
- Selection and preparation of clay
- Free shaping of cup and cereal bowl at the table
- Individual design and advice
- Conclusion with information on drying, glazing & firing
- Collection of finished works after 4-5 weeks
Who is the class suitable for?
The course is aimed at beginners and advanced students who enjoy creative work and want to create their own ceramic pieces. Whether alone, as a couple or in a group — here you can get creative together with others and learn new techniques.
As a closed group, you are welcome to make an appointment. During the week, this is possible for a minimum of 2 people, at the weekend for a minimum of 4 people.
