About this class
In this pottery class for children in Oldenburg, children between the ages of 8 and 12 create their own Japanese-inspired clay bowl. Step by step, they learn simple pottery techniques and form a personal unique piece that is later fired and glazed. Whether for rice, fruit, snacks or pasta — the self-designed bowl combines creativity with practical use. As a special extra, each child receives a pair of sushi sticks so that they can try out the finished bowl directly. The workshop promotes fine motor skills, imagination and manual skills and makes you want to work creatively with sound
