About this class
In this Kintsugi workshop in Oldenburg, you will learn the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. In doing so, you create something new and unique from broken points. You don't need any previous knowledge — we'll show you the kintsugi technique and relief technique step by step. You highlight precious scars and decorate them with high-quality gold pigment. At the same time, you'll discover the philosophy behind Kintsugi: seeing beauty in the imperfect. You work creatively in a relaxed studio atmosphere and take home your own Kintsugi work of art at the end.
