Looking for a creative group experience? During a pottery course in Frankfurt, you will discover the fascinating world of ceramics. Together, you will explore the materiality of clay, learn basic pottery techniques and create your own sculptures or everyday objects — according to your imagination. Each participant forms one or two individual pieces of ceramic, which are dried and scrubbed after the course — this is already included in the course price. If you want to refine your work, you can book glaze firing as an option for an additional charge. The course is ideal for groups who want to get creative together — whether it's a team event, bachelor party or a private party. Look forward to a convivial workshop where you can let your hands do the talking and create lasting memories.
What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome and introduction to the world of ceramics
- Presentation of clay as a material and its properties
- Learn basic pottery techniques
- Creative design of 1-2 pieces of ceramic per person
- Individual work with support from course instructors
- Joint conclusion and discussion of the works
- Drying and scrubbing of the pieces (included)
- Picking up the finished works on site after the fire
- Optionally bookable: glaze firing to finish the pieces
