About this class
Wedding photography is a very exciting topic and a really nice business. For many (prospective) colleagues, this is a “dream destination” towards (partial) self-employment as a photographer. In the Start of Wedding Photography workshop, I would like to take you a few important steps forward on your journey and share my experiences from many years of self-employment and many, many wedding reports with you.

What to bring to the class
- digital camera with manual adjustment options
- Preferably one or a maximum of two “classic” fixed focal length (s) (35 and 85 mm KB)
- empty memory card, full battery
- Enjoy trying and experimenting

The course is suitable for anyone who would like to learn more about wedding photography.

What you’ll do in the class
Topics will be:
- Characteristics of wedding photography
- the right equipment
- Preliminary discussion and preparation for the wedding day
- photographic accompaniment of a wedding couple (bridal couple shoot)
- Image selection, editing and transfer of photos
But of course we also talk about the “business side” of wedding photography: logo, business card, website; marketing; online profiles, social media, etc.
With a maximum of eight participants, we have enough time for all aspects of wedding photography, but we can also answer individual questions.
