About this class
We all do it again and again: take pictures with our smartphones! Because smartphones are always there as wonderfully practical all-round companions. We can communicate with them, organize, synchronize, navigate, play... and even shoot (and even film) anytime and anywhere in fairly good quality. Better and good smartphone photography is therefore an issue for everyone!
However, if we want to use the potential of our smartphones correctly, a little basic knowledge and practical experience is also good here. Because a camera... is a camera. And because good photos are more likely to be taken even with a smartphone if we know and apply a few options for image design. Being able to take good smartphone photography becomes even more interesting where we like to show our pictures and possibly want to share them widely (on the Internet). That is why we are tackling this topic in a very concentrated and practical way in our workshop.

What you’ll do in the class
In every smartphone photography workshop, I first provide some important information about the basics of photography (connection between aperture, time, sensitivity — imaging characteristics of different focal lengths — aperture and depth of field) as well as tips on some simple ways of better image design (light, exposure compensation, conscious choice of perspectives, rule of thirds).
After that, we'll start taking pictures ourselves.
