The story: 1866 in Jena: There is a crisis mood in Carl Zeiss's workshop, because the laborious manual work is reaching its limits and the microscopes produced only produce blurred images. Zeiss is on the verge of ruin and knows that simply trying things out is no longer enough to survive against international competition. As his most capable assistants, you are the first to recognize that only exact science and mathematics can break this technical standstill. Your mission is to win over the brilliant physicist Ernst Abbe to your cause and revolutionize the optics industry forever.
Work in a team (1-6 people per group) to solve the case. Are you more than 6 people? Then we recommend that you divide yourself into several small groups, otherwise experience has shown that not all of them are well integrated into the game. You can also test which group is the fastest!
Puzzle yourself along the story from station to station with the help of our city map. Solve the puzzles at Jena's most beautiful sights and at important points and learn more about Carl Zeiss. It is part of the game to guess the individual stations of the city rally. At the stations, clues must be sought to solve the puzzles. This game focuses on the story and puzzles.
Move at your own pace and take a break whenever you want. The city rally ends in the old town of Jena near Carl-Zeiss-Platz.
Steps of the tour
