About this class

In our workshop in the Waldbart hands-on workshop, you will build your own cutting board from high-quality oak wood. Step by step, we form your personal board from kiln-dried wood. Band saw, format saw, planer, grinder... Manual work but also machines are used. And of course, in the meantime, you'll learn lots of exciting things about forestry and wood management, woodworking, tools and more. On request, we can even engrave your finished piece with your name or our Waldbart logo at the end.
We will provide you with materials and tools. You will then take your finished work home with you.

Denny is a cool guy who not only teaches you practice but also teaches you theory and makes you feel really comfortable doing it. Cool experience but more time so that you can try out even more in customizing the boards and maybe even play with shapes. We would love to come back again.

I can't help anyone who doesn't get along with Danny. A super likeable and absolutely knowledgeable woodworm. We didn't just file a board - no, he explained everything about felling to drying and showed us the various machines that we could operate ourselves. There was even an engraving at the end. Now we know what kind of work goes into such a great board. Thanks =)

I highly recommend the course. It is a great experience to do it yourself, to saw, slice, sand and finally hold your own cutting board in your hand. Denny has a great deal of expertise, which he shares. You learn important steps for working with wood and also gain further knowledge about the subject of wood. I can really recommend this workshop to anyone who enjoys crafts or simply wants to try something new.
