About this Tour

Cologne has many culinary secrets — and you'll discover them on your puzzle dinner tour! But it's not just an aperitif and a delicious 3-course dinner in three trendy top locations. Getting there is just as exciting as the food itself!

Small, sophisticated puzzles await you between the courses. Every question you answer brings you one step closer to the next location. Each correct answer provides you with a letter of solution. If you put all the letters together, you get the answer — and this will tell you the name of the next restaurant where the next culinary treat is waiting for you!

Riddle your way around Cologne and enjoy an evening full of surprises, enjoyment and adventure. “Taste Cologne” is no ordinary dinner — it is an interactive experience that takes you to real secret tips about the city in a fun way.

Please note: You must always book at least 2 people for the tour to take place. Otherwise, the ticket will be canceled.

Steps of the tour

The special thing about our dinner tours: Each one is unique. All top locations are constantly being recombined to offer our guests an exceptional evening. In Cologne, for example, we surprise our guests with the Brussels, the Liège, the Belgian Court or trendy secret tips.

1st aperitif: surprise location 1
- You start your puzzle tour at 6:15 p.m. In location 1, you will be greeted at the bar, where a wonderful aperitif awaits you. The ideal start to a successful evening. At around 6:40pm, you will receive information about the second surprise location by email. There's a delicious starter for you from 7:15 p.m. But you don't have to stress yourself. All stations can be easily reached on foot within 5-10 minutes.
2nd starter: surprise location 2
- We continue in location 2 with a delicious starter. This was created exclusively for our tour guests. This makes your second course an individual pleasure experience. At around 7:50pm, you will receive all information about the third surprise location, where a delicious main course and a delicious dessert will be waiting for you from 8:15pm.
3rd main course & dessert: surprise location 3
- You can choose your main course in Location 3 from a small fine menu. Culinary variety is therefore guaranteed, including the right ambiance. While you relax and enjoy your main course, your dessert is already being created with love in the kitchen. So you can end your evening in a very enjoyable way. Your tour officially ends around 22:45.

For all night owls...

... for those who want to experience something else afterwards, the city has plenty of cool bars to offer. Of course, you will receive a surprising secret tip from us.

The puzzle dinner tour is perfect for anyone who likes to enjoy, puzzle and discover the city in a completely new way!

Together, you will visit various restaurants in Cologne city center. The locations will all have a pleasant atmosphere where you can enjoy a delicious meal. You will be notified of the start location in advance by email. Please book the event with an email address that you can access during the event.

Unfortunately, the tour was very disappointing overall. Under the motto “Taste the city anew”, we had imagined a culinary and at the same time exciting discovery tour through Cologne. In fact, however, the trail only led up and back down the Friesenstraße once — not very varied and not inspiring. For visitors who don't know Cologne yet and who had also hoped for a better impression of the city through the tour, this would probably have been a bitter disappointment. But we, as experts in the area, had also promised ourselves more — such as special secret tips, charming locations or interesting background information. Unfortunately, none of this was the case. The puzzles were also ill-thought-out and not very creative — they did little to improve the experience. We also found the price-performance ratio particularly disappointing: In our opinion, the ticket price was not justified, especially as the drinks had to be paid for by yourself. Overall, the impression remains that a lot of potential has remained untapped here. The concept could certainly be a great experience — however, as it is currently being implemented, we would neither book nor recommend the tour again. What a pity!

It was a lovely evening with very lovingly selected restaurants. In the cocktail bar, you could already see which couples/groups had booked the same event and yet we had no moment where it felt like mass processing, the service and time management were very good in all restaurants. There is only a star deduction for the puzzle part, so we had expected a bit more than “just” guessing the next restaurant. We will definitely repeat it in another city

Overall, everything was well organized and the locations were good. The only point: we were only on Friesenstraße, I would have liked more variety here, as well as a bit of variety in the guesswork. But overall, a lovely evening. Thank you so much.
