The aperitif was a bigger sip, the salad at the 2nd stop was the highlight, but the selection in the 3rd location was too difficult for this hot day (roasting/cheese spaetzle), our taste opinions also differed here. We would have liked to solve another puzzle for the dessert. For the price, a drink would be welcome at least at every station. Actually a funny idea, well organized but relatively expensive and in the end we only got to know 3 “new” places.

All 3 locations were great. We thought it was a shame that it didn't start with the aperitif like on the confetti page but with the starter and we didn't like it that there was a puzzle about the 2nd location but the address directly.
Perhaps it would be worth considering adding dessert as a 4th location.

We really liked the starter and aperitif. Both from the location and from the food/drink. The Trödel Stuben restaurant could not convince us. Unfortunately, we were not greeted warmly and the atmosphere was also a bit disappointing compared to before. We would only rate the food as “okay.” As a third location, we would have found something more modern and also more unusual.

Contrary to what was announced, the restaurants were very mediocre from our point of view and no secret tips at all in the Belgian quarter, but restaurants such as Wilma and La Bodega on Friesenstraße with no good food (for example French fries as a starter and then patatas bravas/potato as a main course). A bit disappointing!

We had a great puzzle dinner tour. Except for an answer to a question with a company from Halle instead of Leipzig, it was great. 😉 we definitely got to know new locations that we had otherwise not visited or had not known yet. Food/drink in the sought after locations was also very good. A successful evening for us.

The organization was great (everything via email). Despite a small mistake in the puzzle, our target locations were great to solve.
Did we get the starter before the aperitif?! Due FRATELLI, our first restaurant, is an upscale restaurant. The waitstaff were all very friendly. The starter, tomato mozzarella, but rather unimaginative both in terms of selection and taste. The Blauer Fasan bar has an extensive selection of cocktails with good service — delicious. We then went to the cat cafe. An appealing place, but with very old chairs - really unpleasant. Unfortunately, at tropical temperatures, a table was reserved for us in the restaurant and not on the terrace - too bad. The main course (Normandietop + potato gratian) was delicious and very well portioned. The dessert with a brownie + a scoop of vanilla ice cream is unspectacular. The “main waiter” quickly seemed overwhelmed, which we noticed, all other service staff were very friendly and thoughtful.
Overall, the price/performance ratio for 99€ per person is not right (just for information: all drinks had to be paid in addition)!

From a super sweet bar to traditional Bavarian dessert, everything was included. The puzzles were easy to solve (with a little help from Google) and made the evening super easy. The food (and especially the respective service staff) were great!

We really enjoyed the tour, we only have a few suggestions for improvement.
The flow of information in advance and also during the evening was great and sufficient. Shops 1+3 were really good, nice atmosphere, great explanations of the evening, great drinks and super delicious food. And it wasn't the last time these stores saw us.
We were not impressed by the 2nd shop, the atmosphere was cool and like a treadmill handling. In the end, we should even pay for everything (including food) even though the food is included and we signed up beforehand with the words we are from the “puzzle dinner”.
We suspect that due to the size of the shop, there is a lack of communication from the staff here.
We would have liked a smaller shop that wasn't immediately noticeable as we passed by.
We would also have liked longer distances between stores.
When we arrived at shop 1, we only had a 20 minute stay. When the puzzle came, we should solve the puzzle within 10 minutes, drink it, pay and find our way to the nearest shop and appear there. It was a bit hectic and not enough time.
A 40 minute stay in the 2nd shop was completely sufficient and we had 20 minutes between store 2+3 after receiving the puzzle. This was absolutely fine.
And in shop 3, you were open-ended and even received an email afterwards with possibly other places where you could round off your evening.
We found that very successful.
Conclusion: Tour highly recommended, either retrain shop 2 or swap shops. There is plenty to choose from nearby.
We won't reveal the pictures and names of the stores because we don't want to spoil them.

We had a very nice time and were able to explore great restaurants and food in Eppendorf that we didn't know before! Overall, a great experience. For our taste, some questions could have been formulated a bit better and also a bit more demanding.

The cocktail bar was the best. The main course/dessert here should be improved, for this price they had a different expectation as a main course. We paid a total of 125€ euros per person for this fun. Personally, I find it overpriced for the afternoon. It was worth the experience. Recommendation-yes, participate again-no.

To be honest, we were very disappointed. We did the puzzle dinner a few years ago. That was great - back then we had to explore Stuttgart's sights to solve the various puzzles. There is nothing left of it today. We received the first puzzle a week earlier. None of us understood that this is supposed to be the first puzzle. Starting the email with “Here we go - you have to solve the first puzzle to find your location for the aperitif” would have helped us a lot. We also didn't understand why you get the first puzzle a week in advance and have to solve it. That destroys all the anticipation. There were eleven of us in the group and only met on the day of the puzzle dinner - it would have been better if we could have solved it together that day. We had also asked if we could store 2 email addresses for the puzzle emails because we are such a large group. Unfortunately, this was rejected. It is also incomprehensible to us. At the end of the 11th we sat at the table and half didn't understand anything anymore. The price is completely overpriced for being able to solve the puzzles right at the table without exploring the city and paying for the drinks for all dishes yourself. Our conclusion: If we had rather come up with creative puzzles ourselves and reserved them ourselves at the locations, we would have had more fun and spent less money. But big praise goes out to all 3 locations: we were well received, the food was delicious and the staff was super nice. Sorry, but we will no longer book the puzzle dinner and will no longer recommend it to others. Greetings!

On the whole, not particularly good but not bad either. For the price, the performance is absolutely not justified. Simply spontaneously reserving 3 places and presenting basic questions as quizzes is pretty bad. You could do that to Locker yourself for half the price. It was cumbersome that there were no more drinks from location 2. As soon as there was far too little space and only alcohol was offered in the 1 location. I had to get to something normal first on demand and detours.

The route was okay, the locations were very good, the selection of food and drinks partly, cocktails rather too few choices, starter NO selection, main course + dessert good.
The puzzles were very FC Bayern heavy, which is rather disappointing for a city like Munich, which definitely has more top sports clubs than just FC Bayern (basketball, ice hockey, etc.)
The puzzles themselves were too simple and then again partly incorrect in their question.
We were 6 work colleagues and it was a birthday present, it was a nice evening all round, which was a great early summer evening in Munich and a nice group of friends.
None of us would book this tour again, we were all not sure whether it would always be the same locations - then it would be boring.

I gave the tour away for my birthday because I wanted something different and exciting for my husband and me, as well as something new in the food.
The emails were sent well, they always arrived on time.
At the first location for the aperitif, they knew nothing about us and this tour and several people had to be interviewed and phone calls made until someone finally knew what it was about. We were then allowed to choose from the aperitif menu, after all. All in all, this was unfortunately not such a successful start.
Overall, the second location for the starter was the best prepared for us out of all participating locations. There were places for us and the lady knew about it. The food was very good too.
At the third location, we had to explain again that we had booked this tour and that roach should actually be planned for us. We had to wait for our table because there was such a huge crowd - incomprehensible to us. When we were given a cookie, we received beef rolls with red cabbage and spaetzle... and that at the end of May at 29 degrees! Unfortunately, the taste of the dish was also not convincing. We had the dessert wrapped up and brought it home.
Of course, we were also interested in how high the actual costs for the dishes were and thus came up to a maximum of 2/3 of the total price. We found this to be inconsistent in relation to the total costs and would really like to suggest that it would make more sense to be able to choose between two main courses, for example.
Communication should also improve, so you book a tour for a high price, which caused question marks at most locations and could therefore not be properly addressed to us at all. That is a shame and avoidable - in particular, it does not encourage us to repeat or recommend it to others. Too bad...

The puzzle dinner tour — a good idea for couples. The selected locations were excellent. The organization and coordination with the restaurants was perfect. The puzzle questions were sometimes not entirely clear, but we always found our goal. It's a pity that when you click on the help button, you are immediately shown the solution - an intermediate step would have been more exciting.

Great event (“Taste Munich”). Good communication in advance. Good locations. The only downside: most participants couldn't make the desert anymore because they were already fed up.
We (12 people) had a great time at the “Taste Munich” event! The communication in advance was very well organized, so we were well prepared. The selected locations were really great, offering variety and a wonderful atmosphere to discover Munich's culinary diversity.
The only minor disadvantage was that many participants couldn't make the dessert anymore because they were already so full from the previous courses — but that speaks above all for the generous portions and the quality of the food!
Overall, an all-round successful event that I am happy to recommend. Thanks to the entire team for this wonderful experience!

Overall, it was a very successful evening! The organization was uncomplicated or was you very well informed about what to do and what was next for you.
The three restaurants/bars were well chosen. Only the staff of our first restaurant (Italian) was not hospitable to us and not service-oriented. Here I would like to see another restaurant for other groups in the future or contact the restaurant about it if it should continue to be considered as a partner. However, the quality of the food/drinks was top.
The following bar and final restaurant were great in terms of service and food! These are recommended.
Name of reservation: Please indicate in advance in the emails “who” the table is reserved. That was not entirely clear - neither for me as a participant nor for the restaurateurs.
I had written when I registered that we were celebrating a 50th birthday, but we were not asked about this in any of the restaurants or were the table set/decorated accordingly. I thought that was a bit of a shame.
The puzzles:
Please correct the puzzles so that the same question is not asked multiple times within a tour. There are certainly other questions/solutions here that are used to find the names of the restaurants/bars.
And please correct: you “drink” the cider from a “Schoppe” and not directly from the “Bembel”.
All in all, we had a lovely cozy and culinary good evening with lots of fun!
