Experience the thrill of wheel throwing with our exclusive session—small vases! Perfect for those eager to dive into the world of ceramics, this hands-on experience offers a sneak peek into the art of creating ceramic vases on the pottery wheel.
Join us for an intimate evening of wheel-throwing at Clayground Berlin! In this small-group workshop, limited to 5 participants, you’ll learn to craft beautiful, small vases on the potter’s wheel. Guided by our experienced instructor, you’ll shape and create unique pieces in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
It is the perfect opportunity to create a small flower vase - perfect as gift for family or friends, or for yourself
How does this activity work?
- Preparing clay, centering, pulling, and throwing small to medium vases
- Learn how to use various tools to add patterns and shapes to the surface of the clay
- Learn how to take your finished piece off the wheel without distorting it
- Our tutor will assist you throughout the workshop in case the pieces become too wobbly
- We then take care to trim, glaze and fire your pieces in the ceramic kiln
- You’ll pick up your pieces 2 – 3 weeks later

Beginners as well as those with basic wheel-throwing experience are welcome

What to bring?
Everything is taken care of, however, you are welcome to bring a change of clothes with you.
What is included?
- Two-hour session
- Clay, materials, aprons, and tools are included
- Expert guidance and help
- Trimming, firing, and glazing in a warm, neutral shade will be taken care of by our team
- Students will be able to choose a maximum of their 2 favourite vases to have glazed and fired
Your finished vases will be ready for pickup two weeks after the workshop, allowing time for us to fire and glaze them. Perfect for all experience levels, this session offers a fun, hands-on introduction to wheel throwing.
