In this course, you will learn step by step how macro photography works — from technical basics to creative image design. Together, we'll look at which accessories you really need to get started. You will learn how to present small motifs in an exciting way, work with light and use sharpness in a targeted manner. You will receive understandable tips on camera settings, perspectives and image composition so that your close-ups are clearer, more detailed and more expressive. The course is aimed at beginners who want to try out macro photography in practice and use their camera more safely. You can ask questions, try out different techniques and experience directly how small changes have a big impact. This gives you a better sense of subjects, details and creative options in macro photography.

- Macro lenses, extension rings and close-up lenses, if available

What you’ll do in the class
You will learn how to focus precisely when there are only a few millimeters left. We'll also show you how to use light and background so that your images not only look sharp but also atmospheric.
The course is based on lots of practice. You'll immediately try out what makes for good macro photography.
