About this experience
In the printing workshop in Wiesbaden, we experiment with Lego images, which we then print with linoleum ink. With the flat, smooth Lego building blocks, you can create great pictures, e.g. animals, flowers, robots, words & names, abstract shapes or patterns. It is a simple printing technique that is really fun and requires no prerequisites.
You can create images from templates (available) or from your imagination.
You can create and print as many images as you want. There are many different papers and formats to choose from. Printing on colorful and black paper is also possible. If you like, you are also welcome to print with the linoleum printing press. Otherwise, it is simply printed by hand (or with a spoon).
How does this experience take place?
You can create images from templates (available on site) or create pictures based on your imagination. You can also add names or words, or patterns, just as you like. When you're done “building”, we roll paint onto the Lego and then place a piece of paper on it, which we then press firmly. And the picture is ready to dry. If you want, you can print the same design multiple times. Or start a new picture.
