About this class
Do you like dogs or cats? Then you've come to the right place. You can spend a lovely evening in cozy surroundings with a glass of sparkling wine (on request).
We first draw on paper, think about the color tone and then paint the wooden blocks in layers. After that, using tracing paper, we transfer the sketches to the wooden block. You can bring a photo of your dog as a template or just get started. As you can see, the realistic presentation is not important, weird is desired here and there is no wrong!
A wooden block measuring 14 × 28 × 2 cm is included in the workshop price. More can be purchased as needed. You may already know our dogs from CheApart. As LousissyArt, we have been there for several years.
What you’ll do in the class
The first step is to consider which colors and patterns you want to use. Then paint the wooden block with acrylic paint. While the paint dries, we draw weird dogs or cats on paper. We then transfer these onto the wooden block with tracing paper and trace the motifs with an acrylic marker or a thin brush. If you want, you can also add funny sayings to your works.
