About this class

Ink, tea and coffee — three everyday ingredients that take on a fascinating life of their own on paper. Her flowing, random movements invite you to switch off and completely surrender to your creativity.

In this workshop, you will learn to intuitively and experimentally follow the traces and lines that arise — and to grow your very own image in dialogue with the material. In addition to ink and the like, other drawing tools and painting materials are used, including homemade ones. Together, we even make our own fountain pen, which you can use to create completely new, unique lines on paper. The tea bag will also play a role!

We draw inspiration from the diverse forms of nature. Let yourself be surprised what happens when you give space to chance!

What you’ll do in the class

With coffee and tea, the first traces are intuitively left on the sheet using various methods and everyday drawing and painting tools (partly made from everyday materials). Starting from these traces and by inspiring forms from nature, we enter into a dialogue with what can be created. Ink coffee and tea are being exchanged more and more, creating new traces and worlds.

We will not just play on one page, but several to free your head from printing the perfect image. This gives your joy of experimenting and therefore your creativity space again.
