About this class
Creative, wild and genuine — the teen meeting at ROKUKU in Braunschweig is the perfect place for young people aged 12 and over who enjoy drawing, painting and creative experiments. What counts here is not the result, but the fun of designing and spending time together. In a small group, participants exchange ideas, and design their projects without any pressure to perform. Accompanied by an experienced course instructor with a background in art, music and design, this creates valuable space for creativity and new friendships.
What you’ll do in the class
The teen meeting takes place regularly on Tuesday afternoons and lasts around 2 hours. In a small group of 3—8 young people aged around 12, we start off relaxed by arriving and exchanging ideas — sometimes over tea and snacks. Then we move on creatively: we draw, paint, experiment with different materials or try out small projects.
Everyone brings their own ideas, we work freely and without pressure to perform. The content is created in dialogue with young people — anything is possible.
What is important is that the room belongs to young people. I support them with my expertise in art, music and design, provide inspiration and help when someone is stuck.
Who is the class suitable for?
Teens aged 12 and over. No previous experience is necessary, but you should have a desire to work.
